Project Clean-Up was a cross-wiki maintenance effort started in 2020 to improve the quality of organization and resources for a variety of wikis.
These projects were somewhat different for each site, but general tasks across all wikis include the following objectives:
Reduce the amount of unused content, such as unused images, templates, or pages (Orphaned/Lonely and Dead-end Pages), either by integrating it into existing content, making new material around it, or by deleting it.
Categorize all pages, including files, templates, and even other categories.
Ensure all templates have proper, consistent documentation for use, as well as appropriate licensing.
Adjust double redirects to be direct links (or removing redundant ones entirely).
Trim Interwiki to only contain relevant links, and to ensure all links use HTTPS.
Reduce wanted pages, if possible.
Reduce Lint Errors, through the use of the Linter extension.
Delete empty talk pages.
These tasks are unique in the sense that it generally does not necessitate knowledge towards a specific franchise in order to be able to complete them, which allows for users to more easily cross between wikis to participate in improvements.

Due to significant progress being made across all platforms, in addition to rising time constraints, this movement has officially been abandoned in late 2025. Resources may still be available for other contributors to pick up progress.
